When did the Accords become fuel injected and no longer carbeurated? (i think in the 3rd genz)

Some are and some aren't. The higher end models where FI.

No, DX and LX were carbed, LXi was injected. No carbs in 4th gen cars.

Looking into picking up an 88 coupe and it's carbed. Cant afford a swap right now so is it alright to keep it carbed and still put some go into it? Im not sure what the capabilities of the A20's are. Also, if I wanted to make a small swap, would a d-series be fine?

D series do not have the torque needed to move that size of car. go for a different accord engine or h22a

He is refering to a 3rd gen accord and a D series would do fine in there, but it would be better if you put a B series in it. An ls or a B20 would be what I would do.

them 3rd generation coupes arent that bad, they look nice, even though the flip lights dont do it for me, there is a conversion for it that they had in europe.

3rd gen + b20vtec (mounts are an issue), and youll be set for life....

the A20 doesnt have alot of potential......at least none that ive ever seen have used it
