is it normal for it to do that little smoke came out when i was at 6k-7k rpms

i have a bad tps sensor aswell

 

well how many miles are on your motor? I know that with my non vtec d15b7 hits WOT i get smoke, and that is because my rings are bad....check the compression in each of your cylinders and go from there

 

supposely it was rebuilt by prev owner has 90k on motor

 

funny..there was a thread about this same topic just yesterday. try searching for it, there is probably a lot of helpul responses already on that thread.

anyway, it's said that all VTEC motors make smoke when they crossover blah blah blah (although mine doesn't, for some reason).
but .. how much smoke are you talking about? it shouldn't be clouds, or anything like that.

and what color is it?

 

There is usually a little... the ecu dumps more fuel then, and it could be just the excess burning off... if its black or blue, thats not good.

 

it should be black i believe...

 

Im having black smoke as well when hitting VT at 5800 with toda B.. i dont know, going to check if it has anything to do with my Power FC.. argh!!!
