Default Exedy organic clutch kit with greddy turbo gsr

Decided to go with the exedy clutch kit with my greddy turbo setup on my 00 gsr. I was going with act hdss buts it too expensive. Exedy is on sale for a good price and there were very few left from nolimitmotorsports. What do you guys think. I will be running mild turbo setup 200-250whp. What do you guys think? Any guys with exedy on their turbo gsr???

I run an exedy organic in my turbo civic. I really like the clutch for the price and pedal feel. My only complaint is a little chatter at first startup/engagement in the morning. I suspect this is more of a pressure plate/hot spot issue than clutch though. Mine has approx. 40K miles of boost on it and it still grabs nicely. I make around 270whp now for approx 20K and I made 215whp before s/c.

I have a turbo GSR as well and i'll be buying a Action 2MD shortly. It sounds like it is a bad *** clutch too.

I've been running a STOCK oem ITR clutch kit on my Turbocharged SiR for 3 years with no problems what so ever. I even launched on slicks a couple of times.

The car made 238 whp @ 7psi.

i'd reccomend upping it to a stage2 cerametallic 3puc if you're already going with an exedy clutch. the organic clutch will work for awhile but i think it will start slipping on u sooner or later. I've seen them slip on mild NA lsvtec setups. we just pulled one out two days ago out of a b16a turbo hatch. started slipping. now he's running an exedy twin disc

I ran the stage 2 on my 360whp b16turbo for awhile with no problems. then upgraded to a hyper single which i love

*bump for exedy
