Do high flow cats hurt gas milage??

Like the title says, do they? I have a 98 ex AUTO and get about 210-230 to every 8 gallons of fuel. Is this okay for an auto? I have an aem short ram, high flow cat, straight through muffler, ngk plugs and wires, and change the oil every 3 thousand miles. It has 162000 miles on it. Any suggestions??

I would imagine it would make it better, less restriction = better mileage.

26mpg-29mpg isn't that bad. better then 10-12

I didn't think that a High Flow cat hurt Gas Mileage at all just helped out..I could be wrong though.
If you had a Manual you would probably get a little better mileage..

yep so true

auto=slow so you have to stump on the gas more.
