hi flow cat and gas mileage
#4
These guys claim their high flo cat improves gas mileage. http://www.rpmoutlet.com/powercat.htm
Mine isn't 4" in the middle its 2.25" inlet 2.5" outlet.
I got it off ebay for 28 bucks.
It along with my full catback seems to have the same gas mileage on the car.

What is your mpg. That is a more important question. All city, highway, both, lots of vtec, no vtec? Give us more info.

Re: hi flow cat and gas mileage (cambopheonix56)
lots of city driving and not using the vtec. Ever since I put a hi flow cat on I had problems with my check engine light coming on and saying that I have a bad o2 sensor. the code is (p0135). So I replaced the o2 sensor that it told me and tried to clear the code but it came right back on. I need some help or advice.

Yea its not the o2 sensor. Conver to obd1 to get rid of that code, or get a obd2 friendly cat. Gas milage is fine for city driving.
