Default Random beeping, MAJOR HELP NEEDED!!!! thanks

One night i locked my keys in my car and used the hangar way to get them out. (i was going to leave this part out, but hell, everyone knows what to do, and most of our cars have had it done to them)

so whenever i drove my car, if i took a hard turn or so, the open door light would come on. This doesnt annoy because it would happen maybe once every 3 or 4 times id drive it.

but now, it doesnt do that at all, now the car just randomly beeps, and im strongly emphasizing the random-ness of it.
No light pops up on the gauges nothing, just random beeps. Whether im idling standing still or driviing, turning, anything.

It beeps random, at random places, for random ammounts of time. But it happens alot and really pisses me off.

please help me!

1990 CRX DX 5sp
thanks

ps, im thinking theres a circuit or fuse i can pull right to kill this beep noise? but use this as a last resort

Weird, mine does that too, seldemly. I think it will do 3 beeps, like a door or seatbelt indicator. But I really don't drive it enough for me to irritate me.

the sensor that triggers this is behind the rear cargo side panels. It's a slider that when closed, disconnects the ground wire that goes to the dash light, when opened, it creates a circuit that turns on the light. Your slider may be loose. Just gotta get back there and see.

Download the crx workshop manual for reference.

i had the same annoying beeping all the time randomly. my problem turned out to be the overhead seat belt light indicators. for some reason it wasn't recognizing that my seatbelt was on and would just beep. when i figured out what it was i punched the **** out of the unit and broke the cover, ripped out the lights and speaker unit and have enjoyed peace and quiet ever since.

i had beeping with the overhead seatbelt indicator, you can just unplug it and it goes away. 3 screws hold the mirror up.

if its your door trigger, either adjust it or replace it. sometimes they get corroded and rusty with age.

my domelight comes on when i take right turns at ungodly speed. i think it has to do with that switch also. best thing to do is switch the little sliding door switch out. go to the junkyard. it may cost you a whole dollar
