i have azenis with about 10K on them. the back look like new but the front are
considerably more worn out. i thought that was normal untill i turned my steering wheel all the way to one sided and discovered both front tires on the insides were near the steel belt! DOH! my question is do you guys/girls think this is just a matter of camber?
or could i have avoided this a little by just rotating more often(never rotated)

How much camber are we talking about here, -1 deg, -2 deg??
Camber was probably a contributing factor...how are your toe settings?? 10k is pretty fast to wear tires all the way down to the steel belts with just camber. Rotating tires is especially important (should be done every 5k) but you shouldn't be wearing tires down to the belts from 10k up front...sounds more like a toe/camber issue.
Definitely have your alignment checked before you destroy the new tires too.
Good luck

That's very possible, even likely, with the Falken Azenis. These tires typically last only around 10-12K miles (at least, when used on an ITR). Some folks get a bit more, and some don't even get that much.

seriously, only 10k? Now I know why I don't own any!
When belts are showing, that indicates an abnormal alignment or some other vehicle problem...especially when the wear is only on one shoulder of the tire. Uneven wear is caused by the vehicle.
If the tire was worn uniformly all the way down to the belts, then I would point my finger @ the tire as the problem.
So what did you end up doing w/your front tires??

well...
just installed new shocks, lifted ride height to fix camber, and rotated tires. going to 1/4 mile track saturday. dont think the uneven wear of rear tires will affect much.
note: my car rides high as a **** now, it wasnt that low to begin with. i guess ill see how the fronts wear now....

YOU NEVER ROTATED YOUR TIRES?
that is the biggest contributor to why the backs are good and the front are worn.....camber problems aside....you need to rotate tires on a FWD at leat every 5k miles more often if they are tires like Azenis and or driving the car aggressively
the wear on the inside shoulder is from camber but, the lack of rotation made it worse

your tires are better in the rear because you never rotated.
the wearing on the inside is because of alignment, im guessing your car is lowered.
CAMBER plays a huge role in wearing out the inside, without a camber kit you wont be able to prevent that, the only thing you can do is have an alignment shop adjust the TOE setting on it, which can help a little.
I would recommend replacing the two tires u had in front, due to it showing wire. IT is UNSAFE and by law you are suppose to replace it.
