Bone, I've got some additional L3 ID info.
I've got a '90 STD 4-speed with PL3 A000 marking AND a 90-91 (can't remember for sure) Sedan 5 speed tranny with the same PL3-A000 marking.
I'd take some nice digi's but my new Sony CyberShot is a battery HOG - dead AA's.
I can't remember for sure what size diff. bearings were when I had the sedan tranny open, but I'm thinking the smaller ones.
The only difference between a sedan tranny and a DX tranny is the FD - 4.058 sedan, 3.888 DX.
That 'ZC' tranny I have (the inside case was chewed up by bad diff bearings, but I still have the empty case laying around) has the PL3-3000 marking. Other than the fact that it had ZC 1-5 gearing and a 3.888 FD with LSD, I can't be 100% sure the case was truely ZC (and not Si). A previous owner had it open (blue glue sealant used instead of Hondabond).
rambling...
