Energy Suspension Hyper Flex System in a 4G Accord
Any tips? I'm planning on tackling this project pretty soon (this weekend). I've heard of freezing the polyurethane bushing (the ones that need to be pressed in) so they'll supposedly slide right in. I guess this is suppose to keep the bushing from expanding? I'm thinking of just going to a machine shop and having them pressed out and the new ones pressed in.
What if I get a hydraulic press, how much pressure/force do I need to get this job done? Thanks for any info!

I myself have a 4G w/h22 and need a lot less play so I got the kit. It is actually the entire kit but its the Prothane. I first took piece by piece & took it to a shop...if your handy don't do this. It was a big waste of money. Go to AutoZone and get a balljoint press works great just be pacient. And other thing, ya can never have enough grease on those bushings. I did my fronts very well and forgot the back and the backs squeek. Mostly only on hot days or a big bump to the rear. & it does help to freeze the bushings and heat the arm. I didnt do this but I hear its works well. Good luck let me know if ya want more details. At work so can't type a long post.
