The passenger side window in my Sol has the aforementioned problem. Is it something as simple as the motor wearing out or is that even possible? My car was involved in an accident so the door is new to the car, and I've been all over it, swapping stuff over (panel, lock, etc.), I know it worked fine since the swap but I've been in the guts of the door a bunch of times figuring out the lock. Is it possible that I simply just left something in there? I don't think I did, I've looked in there a bit already.

does it go down half way then sudenly stop or struggle down to half way and give out?

 

a combination, it goes halfway down normally then quickly loses steam, then stops

 

it's possible that the motor is going out. Are the window tracks lubed properly? is it sticking?
