boost on an ls

boost on an ls
ok me and my friend were arguing bout an ls with a 150shot and 8lbs of boost would it hold it or not on stock internals??? i said it wouldnt will some one please prove one of us wrong!!!!

my friend had a turbo put on his ls/vtec swap and put only a 50 shot on it, the mechanic that did it told him he'd be lucky to have it last over 10,000 miles. well he went through about 2 bottles and threw a rod. later when he took it apart he found out the crank and everything was messed up.
make sure you have good tuning and with big shots of juice id say get the block sleeved.

<~~ had 2 stock ls turbos
one made 304 at 14 psi (oil pump gear blew up n i spun a bearing)
the other made 282whp at 11 psi (boost spike killed it....fastest stock ls ive ever been in when it hit 28psi
for 2 gears
