Default Passenger gear

So what do you guys use for passenger gear?

There are quite a few girls that want to go riding with me so I figure it might be time to invest in some more gear. The only problem is I don't have a girlfriend so I want to get some stuff that I'll be able to use on the girl of the day.

I was thinking about picking up one of these cheap from new enough:
http://www.newenough.com/produ...s.htm

But I'm still undecided on what else I should be making them wear. I have a set of gloves without any armor that would be good for them so they don't **** up my tank and I'd like to try and pick up some type of jacket.

Any suggestions from those of you who ride 2 up or maybe the one girl on here could help out

At least a jacket and helmet, along with gloves. Have them wear jeans, too. Oh, and boots that cover at least their pretty ankles. Jackets are pretty adjustable (as long as you don't vary between Calista Flockharts and Roseanne Barrs), but pants and boots might be harder.

My wife used to use a Shoei Xtec helmet, JR Reactor S (the perforated one) jacket, A* SP3 gloves, jeans and regular boots.

I have 2 new Arais, and some white ICON gloves that they can wear when I'm not using them. I can just sweat my hands off in my TiMAX gloves.

Getting a dedicated jacket and boots for passengers gets a little complicated. Luckily, I'm not all that big, so most chicks can just use my spare stuff

I used to have some feelings similar to that but I've matured as a rider. After a while I realized I don't need to go out and fly every time I'm on the bike. It's a totally different riding experience when you are sharing your passion with someone. Epically if it's someone who wants to be there, to try and learn why you love it so much. If nothing else it gives you a sense of adventure and excitement in your relationship.

I think the dance of you and a girl going trough a set of corners is very intimate and raises the level of trust between you two more then you could ever imagine.

What size Arai does your midget *** use?

I'm guessing my best bet would be to pick up a medium that way I can also use it as a spare. Who cares if it's a little big on them

Don't get all Enrique Iglesias on us...but I basically agree with you.

The girls I ride with wrap their legs around me really tightly, and the way a girl grabs you with her hands says a lot about how she feels about you.

F U bitch I still weigh more than you!

My Signet GTR Cathcart is a large, and my Quantum/f is a medium. My old Doohan is a large, too.

Heres how I see it: Riding is a big risk, a risk I decided to step into. Nothing would make me feel worse than having a friend get hurt over something I got them into. Call it immaturity or whatever but thats why I have a solo cowl and no passenger pegs. Girls (thank god its girls and none of those guys who are after Apocalypse on CL) ask to go for a ride and I just shrug it off and say no. Besides; I'm lazy and like to leave my suspension dialed in where it already is.

I agree, that's why I took my footpegs off too. A passanger is no different than you...I know a bunch of people who ride in jeans and whatever, when you go down they'll get torn up in a second. If you're taking a loved one out...or somebody important to you wear full gear.

If you don't take passengers, how can you find that secluded place and screw on your bike? Come on folks, you're missing out on that!

Seriously though, your level of passenger protection should be as good as yours in the least. If you're comfortable in a t-shirt, have them in a t-shirt (and you'll have the added benefit of being next to one another in the hospital when you go down). For myself, I'd say nothing less than helmet, jacket, gloves and boots that cover the ankle. It's a little easier for me 'cause I only have one woman in my life but it's probably harder for you single guys.

You should provide a helmet and maybe a jacket since they're more specialized items but she should be responsible for the boots and gloves since you can multitask those. If you're in a pinch and she has a regular leather jacket I suppose you could use that as a fallback but I wouldn't be too comfortable with it. If she doesn't have the necessary gear and you aren't too pressed to get laid you can use the gear requirement to judge her interest in you.

My thoughts exactly. I couldn't live with myself if my passenger got hurt/crippled/died. I have female friends that turn into animals when I bring my bike out. It scared me a few times so now I took off my rear pegs and have a solo seat. That way, even if they offered to suck my dick right then and there, I couldn't say yes.

Yea or......If you have a woman, they could also want a bike, then you dont need a passanger. LIke myself, i have a woman and she wants to get her own bike, so i dont have to give anyone a ride....Well she wont let me give anyone(girl) a ride, nor do i care. I love her, and we will get married, lol...Anyways, they should be just as protected as you

That's a shame... I bet you'd be sorry if that did happen.

They can come over and I can roll my bike into the bedroom? Iunno. I usually sucker them into driving me around though; it works out well.

I don't understand why anyone would not want to take a fine female passenger.

Oh, wait. I suppose roughly 10% of any given population is homosexual...so the MC forum should be no different!

Because the odds of making them not fine are far greater on a motorcycle. I'm glad someone caught my joke though.
