Opinions needed on building my d16z6
thats a good bit of power.
need
connecting rods, pistons, piston rings, connecting rod bearings, maybe new crankshaft, new headgasket, oil pan gasket, not sure what else
might want to get a better intake manifold
turbo kit and other parts could run around $4-5 grand maybe more with labor depending on how you buy the turbo kit
make sure rods and pistons are forged

sorry but that's a bit ridiculous. i think somewhere around 200 would be more than enough to make you laugh. don't spend any money until you really have done lots of research and you know what you're getting into.
it's a good idea to start doing stuff as far away from the motor as possible (tires, suspension, brakes, driveline) then work your way in. by that time you'll have the whole turbo thing figured out pretty well.
but if you're looking for a quick fix, just get an exhaust, clutch, and something like a used greddy kit + some fuel delivery and tuning.
