Default Possible causes of no fuel pressure (according to the gauge)

Finally got the car cranked today after 8 months or so out of commission. It started up fine and seems to run fine. But the FPR, a Stillen unit with a gauge attached to it, shows no pressure. It does not seem to be leaking fuel and the gauge needle is not stuck. The stock FPR is gone and a line runs from a fitting on the stock fuel rail to the FPR. Everything looks right according to the vacuum diagram. Obviously, it has fuel pressure or it would not run. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

Probably. But aren't they pretty damn simple? I mean, the needle is not stuck. If it was a vacuum leak the car would idle like total ***. Correct?

Sediment in the gauge, maybe.

Strange!

It 'could' idle, and such, even with no fuel pressure. The vacuum in the intake manifold will suck fuel through the injectors. If you tap the gas though, it should sputter out.

I would give the gauge a good smack, for good measure. If the mechanism is stuck due to sediment or corrosion, that could un-stick it.

As simple as they seem, I have heard of them going bad quite often.

I bet it is the gauge....
