it says in the instructions to use tefflon tape when installing it.

why would you not want to use it? you can get a roll of teflon tape hella cheap at any hardware store.

i previously posted my praises in the B&M gauge set, but now i changed my mind. over the last month, the gauge has been reading higher and higher, and i freaked out thinking my regulator had failed and thus the reason for the gauge reading 98psi of fuel pressure at idle. i removed the gauge and its stuck at 62psi as the base amount.

B&M gauges are junk. buy a liquid filled one and it will last.

I installed mine and had a slight leak, didn't drop the pressure but the car didn't get enough fuel. I removed it, applied a thin layer of teflon on the threads and applied some silicon to the copper washer (bottom one that is reused) and it's great now.
