i have a 95 civic ex d16z6 and the head may be bad on the z6 but i have a y8 head also. i was wondering if the y8 head will work on the z6 block? if so what head gasket will i need and will the z6 intake mani and dist work on the y8 bedause i only have the y8 head with no manis or dist.

 

everything is interchangeable. you will need to use your d16z6 dizzy though. any Dseries headgasket will work but I recommend a new y8 one.

 

the y8 will work but some stuff needs to be swapped over from the z6 head.
not sure what is needed though

will raise compression ratio up to about 9.4
