I recently got my hands on a passengers side mirror for my Civic CX, which came without one when i bought it.

i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on how to take off the old plate that was covering that spot on my door/what i would need to take off in order to not break anything

The inside piece will snap right off. Once off you'll see three screws if i remember right. Simple as that.
