What front wheel studs are you pro fwd/sfwd using on your drag car?
I have used the skunk2 extended studs and they twist the direction of pressure. I upgraded to the 7/16 ARP and they do the same thing. I ordered a new set of ARP 1/2"x3.5 studs but the knurl diameter looks too large. Part number 100-7703. I also have Pro Drive hubs.

I've never had any problems running the skunk2 extended wheel studs. All my friends seem to have had issues with skunk2, and swithced to ARP.
Have you ever tried tack welding the studs? Skunk recommends that to prevent the issue your having.

yes I tack all of them. I am running 13" BBS wheels with 7/8 spacers so there is a little extra leverage to bend them.
i had this problem back in 99ish on my street car. i thought it was jus a flook of the first batch, and i thought i was the only one with this problem. guess not
i run ARP's now
cuz of this mishap. and no complaints about them

I'd say get rid of the almost 1" wheel spacers you are using and get wheels that fit? 7/8" seams kind of like a lot.

BBS sponsors both of our cars and they dont have a 15" drag wheel. I only use ARP studs just the 1/2" studs knurl diameter is huge. I know to use ARP, I want to know what size the fast guys use.
ARP pressed in by Vince at CircuitWorks before they are shipped out. They are same thread as stock Honda 12 X 1.5. We use Weld lugnuts with the shank and washers. No spacer.
Don't ever weld or tack weld the studs (I don't care what anyone recommends). I've seen every set of studs that have been welded BREAK.

Well here is some funny ****. Today the mad scientist was replacing my broken axle then installing the wheel when one of my 7/16 ARP studs broke. Pulled the head right off of it. THese were tack welded and i think that tacking them compromises the integrity of the head and weakens it(mad scientist confirmed).
Here is a pic of the mad scientist machining the knurling down on the 1/2" ARP studs to replace the 7/16.
