Default replacing o2 sensor, CEL 41.. HELP

ok my CEL has been on since they replaced my tranny a 2 months ago w/ code 41 bad o2 sensor, gas mileage is getting really bad so im gonna pick up an o2 sensor tomarrow (monday) and put it in.. only thing is the one thats in there now is in good and seems rusted on.. i have access to an o2 sensor socket but not sure that will work by itsself.. anyone have any ideas on getting this sucker out?? thanks

get some of that spray thats suppose to unfreeze tight fittings..they use a heat seal when intalling the sensors so they wont come loose..u have to loosen that seal up
