Default Sidemarkers helppppp

Well i Got Some jdm side markers on ebay there for the 99 type R well all was well when i got them in the mail a friend of mines shop was gonna make the wire harness for them, i took it to the shop and they siad the couldnt do it because they didnt want to pop the hole in the fender........they said to take it to a body shop and have them put the holes so that the lights would clip in and out so they could be wired.....they quoted me $350 i just said **** that and took off.....is it really this expensive to get this done???? thanks for the advice

use a cardboard to make a stencil and use a dremel to cut it out.

go to radio shack and buy the "nibbler" it cuts sheet metal at right angles perfect...

just drive a hole in the center of teh stencil and use that tool to cut the outline.. i did mine in under an hour.. its simple... search for sidemarker install

i went to radioshack and got the nibbling tool......it was 11$ alot better than $350
So this and some carboard cut outs will do the sidemarkers???? thanks

very easy to do.. i did it for the first time and came out perfect just make a template first and measure twice

I've been thinking about doing the same thing... I'm exactly comfortable about cutting into the sheet metal on my car... Do they make side markers that fit into the indentation for the vinyl trim?
