Default d16y8 head on a d16z6 block

Hey, will a d16y8 head work with a d16z6 block? if so what are the differences because i would be using the intake manifold and distibutor from the z6 head i have and putting it on the y8 if it will work? please let me know.

I believe that the y8 head will bolt on, try searching. As for using the z6 intake manifold, most people who do a complete z6 swap will use the y8 manifold for its better runners.
Just some food for thought, have fun with your car
