Default should i turbo the d16 or go with the swap???

i have a d16y8 with 133,000 miles... should i jus buy another d16 with less miles and get a greddy turbo or something thas cheap or should i do a b16 or gsr swap? im on a pretty tight budget too. which swap would be best?

if your on a tight budget, d-series turbo is the best way to go

just make sure you do it right the first time...

I would prefer the swap. You may not be boosted now, but you will have a better basis to start with when you do.

do a compression test on your engine, if it comes out good, turbo that sheeit. i recently installed a greddy turbo kit on my d16z (140k miles 200psi compression test), best bang for the buck mod!! for what it is, this set up haul's ***.

i do have to say i love my turbo D16Y8 i havent had a prblems since i got it... well except i keep buring tires... but im working on it... but the turbo d16 is one of the best cars ive driven yet... my freind has got a gsr in his 93 hatch and i kick the **** out of it after the turbo spolls and everything... it a great and vary fun car.. just turbo the d16...

SOHC Turbo My brother has a Turbo D-Series and smokes B-serie swaps all day...
