Hallo,

i want to buy a T3/T04E Turbo but i was told that this turbo is only oil cooled. Because i want the turbo for my daily driver and because durability is one of my highest goals i would prefer a oil and water cooled turbo.

is there any T3/T04E version available water and oil cooled?
or does anyone know another turbo that i can use insted which is oil and water cooled?

Usually you can get them water cooled also, for a price. i'm pretty sure phoenixturbo.com offers this.

 

99% of the people on here use the oil only cooled cartridges and they seem to hold up just fine.

They do make coolant cooled ones also. I run one. It's funny. I hear the coolant boiling in my turbo after I shut the engine off.
