if it blank 10 times fast it your intake air temperature (ita sensor)
if it blank 4 times fasat it your crankshaft position (ckp sensor)

i was told to do this would this remedy the problem for the code 4?

If it is backfiring and all your wiring checks out, then it could be that the rotor on the dizzy is 180 degrees backward. just pop the dizzy out and pull the rotor off and rotate it 180 degrees. If is it backward, then it will try and fire on the exhaust stroke and will cause a backfire. But make sure your wiring is correct.

if using a DX harnes.. wich u should have
u have a left over plug

and that left over plug will be the same plug as the IAT
make sure u dont have the iAT plug out and the one that needs to be left out on the sensor

here are the 2 schematics to help ya get the right colors

and as u can see is the plug that has the red/yel cable on it

I have couple questions also....I used forthgenhatch websight and it says to go to the left side of 1 and 4 injector wires but what goes to the fifth wire on the resistor box and do put all four of the each wire together. also the subframe gets thrown away? What to do about the radiator? The 92 doesn't sit low enough...

Also its a 1990 civic dx with a ls motor.
