will very difficult to get it right with an afc. the problem is that you wont see much manifold vacuum being on the big cam all the time which makes the stock ecm think you're in the throttle. making the afc negative a lot in the idle range will help because it will simulate more manifold vaccum and less fuel at idle. You will also have to back the idle screw way out.

Running on big cams like that usually requires domestics here to run very rich in order to idle.

i got extension welded on the exhaust so the wideband can read correctly, that helped alot. idle screw is out jared. ill have to crack open the throttle plate a bit too it looks like.

You are gonna need alot less fuel...you really need some work tuning that setup.

keep in mind that you may still get alot of reversion at idle/low rpms/low load even with the extention on the header.

so far im just trying to get it to idle for now. im using the same basemap i ran last yr just due to the fact it ran a good AF ratio without locked rockers. i cracked open the butterfly but i havent fired it since then, its kinda late for that.
we will be using a ROM emulator VIA laptop hopefully tomorrow and possibly doin a map scalar for it.

i'll be using my laptop with Crome with Moates Ostrich rom emulator and TurboEdit Datalogger (super fast response on map trace).. PLX Devices M300 wbo2 output to the ecu and closed loop disabled in the rom.. allows me to datalog the m300 thru the ecu.

here's a pic of the way i have it setup in my hatch.. we'll do something similar in 1 2 NV's hatch.. probably not as messy

take out the rocker arm shafts, swap the primary VTEC pin (or secondary, i forget) with the VTEC lobe pin and put em all together. piece of cake, 1/2-1hr job tops.
