My stock Y8 one was 17mm, my new Y8 one (I bought for the oil tap) was 13mm. It must be aftermarket.

You all are talking about the bolt head size. I believe the actual bolt size is 17mm. As in you go buy a 17mm bolt and it will work. It does not matter what the head size is on those aftermarket bolts, their still 17mm bolt just with different size heads. They’re all made to custom specs.

No way bro, I just pulled out my engine yesterday and I know exactly what size a 14mm bolt is. The drain plug is DEFENTLY bigger.

>>>>Goes to look at helms...

If you guys are looking for the actual bolt size, not the head size... I bought an M14X1.50 drain plug bolt from CTC and it fit like a glove.
