im running neptune on my boosted gsr courtesy of jeff evans...im planning on putting in a new headunit...and wanted to just make sure...if i was to remove the negative and positive from the battery...would the ecu lose any memory or anything?

im not that good with electronics..so all help is appreciated

 

no u wont loose any information...

 

DAMN good question for ANY EMS system.

 

i know a lot of ems have a fail safe where as if you lose power or anything like that...you are backe dup...just wanted to make sure
