Default broken mount bolt holes on block... how to fix

ive heared welded aluminum IS MUCH weaker than the casted pieces. so how would i be able to fix this?

the hols is cracked and becasue its stretched from the cracks, its oval inside.

can i weld it up and redrill/tamp a new hole, or will it be too weak to do hold the engine up after i weld?

and if it is too weak, how do you fix something like this??

Welding aluminum, even cast aluminum, can be very strong.A lot of products are made by welding cast aluminum pieces together.I seen many stud bosses welded with great results.Welding is the way to go.
