Interesting Wiring Problem belived
Was wondering if anyone could give me some hints on finding the solution to a problem my civic is having. When I cut on the headlights the running lights and dashlights do not cut on. The headlights do work though. But everynow and then they will work. I am not sure what is causing it nor do I know where to start. At first I belive it was the dimmer so I replaced it. Then I replaced the switch for the headlights and still no change. If anyone has any advice to lead me into the right direction on finding the problem please let me know. Thank you

I don't think that's the problem because..

I'd look for loose wires

So I need to check all the fuses under the dash, and then I will start checking the wiring. Exactly which wires run the running lights and dash lights. Seems odd that all the wires that run all that would go bad. Thats why a fuse problem seems more evident.
