Dude it was soooooo time for Kimi to win again. Hopefully this is the beginning of Mclaren's domination

It's hard posting to this before I have seen the race
I didn't even look at ANY of the above posts. I won't. I will not spoil it.
It's on tape, I'm at work but have already watched practice and round 1 qualifying.
Tomorrow beholds me; a comfy couch, some
a local pizza delivery favorite the "Bronx Bomber" and about 4 to 5 hours of lazy sitting on my *** and watching this race
It'll be well worth it though. Long work week crescendoing with service for 500 folks on Mom's day...
Cheers!

Yep, you can catch the properly commentated version of the race on Speed again, this Friday midnight ET.

LOL, I love the way you said that. "properly commentated".
After watching just two CBS televised races, I don't know if I'll watch another. Somebody really needs to tell Daly to SHUT UP! If I hear the word downforce one more time...
If I was BAR I wouldn't waste the money running. Hell, they earned zero points this weekend, which proves they're consistent without even turning a lap

It was a disappointing weekend with out BAR.
I also can’t stand “The ice man.” I loved it last year when Kimi had a hard time finishing races early in the season. That was enjoyable to watch.

I hate watching the CBS "version". I know they're trying to explain everything to the new viewers, but it just gets annoying after a while. I also think JPM should've sat out another two races b/c I think wurz and de la rosa are better drivers anyways. If wurz drove on suday, mclaren would've recieved more constructors points

Did you ever watch Montoya in CART? Have you ever seen the man's hands move?
In equal cars, Montoya is the equal of any driver in Formula1, with the possible exception of Michael Schumacher in the fitness category.

Kimi is the worst interviewer... ever. Freaking robot. Mumbling robot at that. although pretty damned fast on sunday...
Like Brian said, I found myself bored with the lack of action a few times.
no comment on webber's BS move on fisi when he (fisi) lined him (webber) up for the pass?
1. webber is a bad driver
2. webber makes huge mistakes consistently when under pressure
3. webber is a bad sportsman (his blocking of PDLR across the ENTIRE track for many laps a few races back, and that unsafe block on fisi).
what any ever saw in him is beyond me. he's a good qualifier... runs fine with no cars in front or behind him. so... whats that make him? a test driver? and most fit driver? ha. whining about his neck at the end of the race? can't maintain position... can't fight for position without driving across track to block... sad. very sad. where's the penalty?
chris - very annoyed with the webber-worship that a lot of people have been doing for years.

JPM's attitude is what kills it for him. He's a fine driver, but not nearly as good as he thinks he is and tries to make himself to be. everything that happens on the race track to him is always someone else's fault in his eyes. he's a cocky little bastard, and these 3 lackluster seasons in F1 are doing him good!
P.S. I hate webber as well.

Very true, and I think that is a lot of the reason I dislike him. Show some emotion Kimi!!

That is why I like JPM!! I love it when he starts swearing during post race interviews.

I think Kimi's interviews are funny.. gives me something to poke fun at besides Derek Daly-isms.. CBS' commentary was bad.. the spanish TV coverage seemed poorer than normal.. but a decent race overall..
nice to see that Alonso is not the be all end all this year.. and that MS is going to have to work to make up some ground.. surprising that Ferrari can't get their act together still..

2 tire failures for MS [shakes head]. Me = not satisfied, especially after San Marino's demonstration.

It gets on your nerves when you hear it EVERY FRIGGEN RACE and there's still little to show for it.

and fell over. He did however have a very decent writeup in R&T last year or it may have even been early 05 about his antics trying his hand at piloting the 04 Jordan.

San Marino was just such an awesome race though, makes me wonder about Kimi then and just how much better MS might have placed if he didn't fudge the qualifying.

This statement would only lead to me believe you didn't watch Saturday's qualifying where he was quicker than all the other driver's except for 2. Faster as in mere tenths than he. I've said it once and I'll say it again, I don't care how he interviews. Kimi does his best talking when he is behind the wheel of the Mclaren. Let's give credit where credit is due, the guy showed lots of poise after the letdown at Monza.

You couldn't even get started if you wanted to.
Remember, BAR still have yet to win a race.........absolutely PATHETIC!
