Is OBX any good?
I purchased a full catback exhaust. It is ok, nothing great, kinda heavy imo but does the job, only complaint is that it rubs the heatshield
and makes a squeky sound when idling because of that. Didn't come with any bolts or anything. Actually it came with three nuts and bolts to connect to the cat, but nothing to connect the axle back section to the mid pipe.
As far as their other exhaust products, you can buy comparbly priced stuff that has been a little more proven. the catback syste i got for $275 and there wasn't anything close to it at the time, this is about three years ago.

My problem with OBX exhaust products is that they advertise them as being 2.5" inside diameter piping. While they technically are, they reduce down to 2.38" at the flanges. This is just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. It's all a marketing ploy... they can say they have a 2.5" exhaust or cat that will bolt up to factory parts.
I consider it false advertising.

For most of the lower priced brands, IMO, there's no prob with their accessories and other items that don't take huge amounts of R&D to design and produce, like exhausts (not a lot of R&D required there). For items that are a lil more sensitive to quality control like cams, cam gears, brakes, etc. and that can have huge consequences if something were to go wrong, I'd stick with a better known brand with more R&D funds. But I've seen their accessories like shift ***** and e-brake handles and the like and it's not bad. Their exhausts look ok, but I've seen better quality w/ other lower priced brands like Tenzo and Nakayama.
