I need black superlight weight lug nuts really fast. What should I get and where?!? I am getting spoon rims on wed and i want some lug nuts to match the black paint and I want them to be light!
And Id rather steer clear of the $200 volk lugs =]

You can get some kryokugen lugs for $55 shipped. 20 come in a set and they are open ended. They come with a 7-sided key. I think you can still get them from groupbuy.

You spent how much on Spoon wheels, but you dont want to cough up the extra dough for high end lugs?? Hehe, sorry, I dont have any helpful input, just thought that was a bit funny.

I got some Skunk2 racing lugs for my '92 hatch, and they are the lightest lugs that i've had experience with. They have an open ended, bronze/gun metal look, and very very light.

Im sure other former Kyokugen users can vouch for me.

You definitely have to be careful tightening those lugs cuz the key strips easy. I always hand tighten the lugs, never torque wrench.

Yea, get a Fastbrakes Wilwood brake kit and save 8-10 lbs per wheel, much better than a few oz.

I don't know what kind of lugs you have on your car...but mine weigh NO WHERE near 8-9 lbs.

Maybe someone makes an extra lightweight axle nut for you guys as well. This thread is absolutely ridiculous.
Spending $200 for lightweight lugs puts you people in the same category as those fools who get rear wings for the "downforce" on their daily driver. Ever heard of rotational inertia??

I got Kyoguns because I wanted black lugnuts for my gunmetal wheels. I don't care if they are light.
