Resetting ECU?

Ya ya..i know this is a old topic, but i tried the search and nothing popped up...My question is I have never Reset my ECU after the mods I had done (JDm Header, AEM CAI, Apex N1)...my question is Should I do it?, and HOw do you do it, please tell me step by step instructions....I know this was posted before a billion times so i APologize for posting it again....Thnx
You should reset your ECU.
To do this disconnect the negative cable on the battery for about 5mins and then start the car and let it idle for about 5mins.

i reset my ecu too after every mod...but i keep asking myself why?? doesnt the ecu continually check for any differences in air/fuel and adjust to them?? hat would takign the (-) term off do?? i dont get it?? i asked my mechanic friend and he said that there is no need to. but whatever

there are 2 (7.5 fuses) they both say 7.5a, which one??..is it the one that says 15(fuse)..i think its in the top row...correct me if im wrong

This is how i did it :
-Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes
-connect the battery
-without touching the gas pedal start the car and let it iddle for 3 minutes. Then Turn it off.
-you are done, now turn it back on and enjoy...

Just pull the fuse for 10 secs. I must say, I have never seen proof that resetting the ECU does anything. Back to back dyno runs would be nice, but I think I know what the result would be.
