Default D16z6 with greddy kit, running lean...need info

I got kit on and have searched H-T for answers. It runs good and what not at lower psi like around5.5ish. When i rasie it it seems to be ok but it goes to pretty lean on gauge sometimes and it seems to fall on its face til you let off gas and then you could feel like it wanted to go but was forced not to.. Sometimes it stays in the rich and it scoots along pretty good.
I used wire taps for the fcu and was wondering if it had a bad connection on one of the injectors would it lean out that bad to run sluggish??? Any ideas would be awesome..

figured out the problem.......so far......THe wire taps to the conversion harness for the greddy blue box were lose......It seems to be fine fuel wise up to like 12-13 psi or so....Just to test it..I get pinging that high and need to retard timing. But anything under 10psi seems to run good...
