well i was supposed to head to the strip last night, but rain cancelled those plans. so anyways i get up to the track today after they had been running for about an hour. i hate being late, but thats besides the point...
So yeah, turns out it was a domestic day, there were 5 imports, 2 of which were GSTs, 2 were celicas and the last was mine.
onto the racing...
well i sucked. couldnt grab traction for **** for the first 2 runs. (14.398 @97.68 and 14.498 @90.08 with 3 missed shifts...)
3rd run was ok. i Still spun a little too much, missed 2nd and 3rd still, ran 14.287 @90.64
4th run was supposed to be my last as my girl wanted to go to the club so i agreed to end racing early.after i hit 7000 rpms i shifted and bogged. then on my next shift i went 2-5, so yeah. that **** sucked. ran a 15.144 @93.75.
final run i got a decent launch and didnt miss a gear but i babied the shifter on it. falken azenis at 15psi. had to finish on a decent note.
RT - .313
60' - 2.179
330 - 6.029
1/8 - 9.195
MPH -78.10
1000-11.893
1/4 - 14.193
MPH - 97.96
to sum up my track situation as of now. i need bigger injectors as im killing my injectors at 100% duty cycle. I need to get rid of my junk 2 coilovers, tokico 5 ways up front and ITRs in the back and get the Tein with EDC so I can still Road race later. Traction bar is on the list too. and i just need to wire in my 2 step switch and relay, the 6al box and all the other 2 step stuff is already installed.
all in all i was less than satisfied with the day, but i guess thats what happens when you take an uncompleted project and battle test it.

The best part of the day was the guy doing a double take and yelling " your driving on the wrong side of your car"...

dude it doesnt sound like you need anymore mods, it sounds like you need to learn how to drive, how the hell does one miss that many gears in one night, from what i read in your paragraph you missed more gears last night then i have in my entire life
dude i ran a 14.2@98.9 mph with a 2.2 60ft 99% stock only mod was an aem cold air intake,my best mph was 99.3 mph this was done on one day, the second time and last time i was ever at the track
you really need to learn how to drive that badbody, with all those mods you listed your car should be much faster then mine

yeah i know i need to get better with my car. i need to learn to not mis a gear. and as i stated earlier, on the last and cleanest run i had, i babied the shifts. meaning, i didnt try to break the bank.
thanks for the critiques.
and yeah, LSD would definately be helpful

looks like some good numbers man.
Sooo if you rana 2.1 60' and a 14.1 at 97.... and I ran a 2.4 60' on streets and got a 14.1 at 102, I should be able to get into 13's easily this spring. Hmmmm somethign to think about, i need azenis though, my tires now suck.

RHD is definently harder and once you get that beast down, you'll be in the 13s

Aaaahhh.. that makes sense.
I would probably put the window down or lock the doors, looking for 3rd.
