LCA Stuck! 00 Civic Si
i'm not quite sure if this is the correct forum to post this in but i'm taking a chance. i need help bad
i was trying to install my new omni power coilovers and well after i fought with the bolt that bolts the strut to the LCA (i had to cut it off and push out the bushing) i found it easier to just buy new LCA's. well now i'm in a dilema because the bolt that connects the LCA to the hub assembly is free spinning. i guess the "nut" was part of the hub assembly and wasnt meant to come off or it was welded or something. well its about a half inch out and then it broke. so now the bolt just spins. anyone have any suggestions on getting that bolt off? any techniques i should use? locking vice grips? my real main problem is i cant get pliers in there to grip it its kinda a small space. someone help please!

I have a similar problem, my is about round at this point, I was going to take out the rear suspension as a whole and have a shop fix it up. I bought some function7 rear lcas to keep this from happening again. Im taking the lca/stock spring and shock (strut?)/ and trailing arm (is that the right name?). I need a bunch of new bushings anyways.
Is it possible to cut the head of the bolt off, and push the stud through. I can't really remember exactly what that area w/ the welded nut looks like, or how much space there is.
