Civic 00' Rear Struts problem
I'm having problems removing my rear struts on my 00' civic. The bottom bolt connecting the struts to the lower control arm seems to be frozen. I just wanted to know is there a way for me to remove this bolt without breaking it? If i have to break this bolt what should i do after that?

Re: Civic 00' Rear Struts problem (KcSoldier)
These are always a pain. of course which suspension bolt isn't.
You can do this in either order, just watch the flame if you WD-40 first.
Use some WD-40 then take a torch and go at it (on the bolt) for at least a good 45 sec. While the bolt is still hot, keep wrenching on it. It may take a few times, but this is what I had to do when I replaced my suspension and did my rear disc swap.
Like I said though, be careful if you spray the bolt first and heat it second.
Good luck.
