Have a 94 civic Lx 4 dr. I put a ls swap in it , as well converting it from a auto to manual. When converting to manual my reverse lights dont work.I dont want to use a toggle switch or use a push button everytime im backing up. I want them to operate with the shifter. Need to find a solution to my problem. Please help.

 

if i'm not mistake,on the auto setup,the reverse lights are triggered at the shifter in the car.you should be able to extend those wires and connect them to the reverse switch on your new manual tranny.

I tried running some jumpers to the tranny sensor, but it didnt work. Maybe there is another break somewhere else. Ill just have to play with it some more.

 

very simple procedure, think about it for a little bit and it will come to you. If you are still having problems I'll help you
