Let's think here. You break something on the H.... go to the junkyard. You break something on the F ........

I don't know why you guys with newer cars (especially Accords) want to swap your engines. Why the hell did you buy the car in the first place? Why wouldn't you get a more suitable car for a swap? OR, Why not just buy a Prelude?
So to answer your question just leave it stock if you want to swap buy something more suitable 6th gens are definetly luxury cars leave it that way, maybe you should of bought a RSX

first off...its cheaper to buy an accord and swap in an H22 that it is to find a Prelude SH....alot of people also like the challenge of a hybrid....and what is a car thats more suitable for a swap than a honda?.....honeslty.....

6th gen accords are hardly luxury cars

h22 because it has more torque

Not to mention the fact that how often do you hear of people's accords getting stolen or broken into? 98% of the time it's the Civics, Tegs, and RSX's. Accords are no where near "luxury". Acura is a luxurious honda but not by much.

My vote: F20

I doubt its cheaper to buy a 6th gen and swap it then a prelude and who the hell is talking about SH's. Also I don't know what you guys call luxury but a 6th gen Accord is defenitley luxury its up ther with a CL and TL are you gonna say those aren't luxury.

*back on topic* I would suggest an h22 because of the higher likely hood of getting parts cheaper and more readily available. Also the torque of the h22 would be better suited for the 6th gen accord compared to the f20.

well a 6th gen 4 cylinder is gettin very cheap now..i believe you can get one as low as 7 and most at 10 grand. i got mine at 9 grand with 46k miles. Swap an h22 with low miles is a few more grands compared to a prelude w/ high miles and it cost much more.

if its stictly NA id prefer a higher revving f20b. a cat on honda society ditched his h22 took off the ITBs got an f20b put the ITBs on it and man it rips way up into the 7k and sounds sick.
