Race seat and harness?

Race seat and harness?
Is it legal to use race seats and harness without a cage if your not running faster than 11.49? Also if you have seats with no cushion hole for the harness is that ok?

I dont think it is, nor should it be.
In a regular 3 point seatbelt you can duck down in the case of a roll over. With a racing seat and harnesses you are strapped strait up and down, NO CHANCE TO MOVE.

i have passed tech many times as such. my harnesses are bolted to my rear seatbelt bolts at roughly a 50 degree angle. not the safest, but better than a 5 degree angle to the floor.
