It was an Evolution autox school sponsered by NASA at VMP. Phase 1 on Sat, Phase 2 on Sun.
And I got to sit in Glenn's WRX wagon... very nice. MINUS the gold wheels, of course.
And sorry about stealing your tire gauge...
I had a blast taking Phase 2. Learned a lot... now if I can just apply all of it to competition... Especially since one of my instructors is in my class this year... Hmmm....

d'oh... i had no car to run the school with so i ducked out of this one
Between a saturn i'm trying to sell and a RX7 i'm trying to get running (and no mr2 yet). I'll hit up the next Evo school... probably @ the NE Nat'l tour in June. I've done one full weekend already, and the experience was awesome.

Sure glad I don't have to race against her and Marc at every event (they're from Orlando)...
Poor maxQ will have to compete against GH Sharp, who's got a new Celica GT for whatever class that is this year (GS?).
You want intimidating? Of the six instructors there, only one had never run FS at the National level, and of the five that had, two were former FS national champs, and the other three had top six finishes....
Karen
maybe i'll get a trophy this year!

Yes, GS.
And yes, it does look like we have our work cut out for us, Karen...

I'm sure with the school and new tires you'll be kickin' butt in no time. I'm quite scared knowing how fast each of you guys have been without training and new tires! Should be a fun experience. (Scott....feeling like the kid that missed the short bus and has quite a haul to get to school!)
Hmm... Andy, did you ride in Glenn's car? Did it feel any different from mine apart from having tires that do not suck?
And, Scott, I do think ES/GS will be quite the interesting class this year... I'm kinda looking forward to it.

The school was pretty cool, it was tough being a spectator though. I got to watch my wife beat up on the car all day, I'm doing the Phase 1 next weekend, so it'll be my turn then.

I can't wait for this season to start up! All I did last season was screw around in other people's cars... Now I've got a CRX again and can finally start to knock over some cones!!!

My Wagon handle great the Insturtor said it was handling as go as the sedan just alittle more roll but that did not afect the handling. I guess we'll see.
Andy no problem on the air gauge.
I cann't wait for Phase 3 this week end.

Oh well... Glenn, if you're really fast by the time I'm back up there... no problem, I'll keep giving you setup advice. In the warmer summer months, WRXs really need to have a 2" cork pressed into each exhaust tip. It's worth 20hp on top-end, promise!
It's stock-legal too! Heheheh...
