so i'm replacing the driver side drive shaft on a 2000 ex (d16y8). the drive shaft wont pop back in. i think it's hitting the pin inside the diff. i thought it might have been the wrong drive shaft so i got another one and same problem. can someone please help me out.

lol its not hitting the pin in the diff, use a rubber mallet and gently help it back in. dont hit the end of the axle, hit the inner joint case (big round hard part on the inside)

did you compare the old and new axle? just out of curiosity.
