Default need help to a very small problem. (interior)

ok, so i picked up some new jdm inner mirror covers to go with my vision mirrors i got last year. But there is a small problem.

they line up and fit perfect, but there is two clips of the back of the cover. one is a clip. and the other is a long skinny peice that is suppose to snap into place.

but that small piece (below) will go into the little hole to "snap" in but won't actually snap into place.

anygot any help they can give me on getting these in!?

thanks in advance

Um i think that is just to line it up, don't think it is supposed to snap into place.

just use some back to back tape and your problem is solved.

you're missing the small plastic cup that the prong fits into.

I would try a hardware store. You can find spring clips that can hold them in place... but you would probably be happier with 3M double-sided tape.
