Has anyone put a set of these on their R or have any pics of black R's with these wheels on them, thinking of swapping my 17" bronz volk te37 with these ones in 17 too.

I would think more in the area of 17 lb. per rim........thats what my 17 TE37's weighed roughly.
Here's a CDUB with black/polished lip TE37's or LE37's?

I actually think 17's look good. Wouldn't spend that much on wheels for daily driving unless I had a better set for the track.

17's, but imo 16 would look PERFECT too
The previous owner of that car used to be a member of H-T under the name XiaOwOng.
Search his created threads for more pics
....Since the creater of this thread wanted pics of a black itr, maybe you could photoshop the car to black.

Damn this car looks sick.

I have already tried to order these wheels however they did not import these wheels in our size 17x7.5. The smallest setup Mackin imported was 18" for an EVO8. They are called the Volk TE37 LM's

This is also a function of the "version" of TE37 as well as the width. Regular 17x7.5 TE-37's are 15.xx lbs each.

Those rims look sweet...but I don't think 17s would look right on a DC2...16s would be perfect.

I don't know why people seems to unilaterally hate on 17s, I personally think it's a matter of design, whether the rim was designed to look big (many "show" type rims) or not (the case for many non-"show" rims, such as TE's)...
In fact, the majority of people not familiar with TE's mistake them (17s) for 16s because of the fact the spokes "end" so early and the lip fills the rest of the diameter.
Plus, the usual disclaimer... to each his own,
