Need help with tranny install!
Well i am about to take out the old worn CVT Tranny out of a 98 HX Automatic Civic and i was wondering if there are any write ups or if anyone has any info on how to do this. Is it pretty much like a 5-speed tranny where u take out the axles and find all the bolts holding the tranny in place. If anyone has anything specific please help Thanks.

Don't forget the rear transmission mount, the front engine torque mount, the slave cylinder as well as the starter. I'd advise the use of a good floor jack and at the least an 8x8 wood board to support and bring down the transmission. When it comes to the rear transmission mount, make sure you know which bolts are welded and which are actual bolts. Once you've removed all the bolts from the transmission, recheck to verify and try prying the transmission off. It doesn't always just slide off.
I'd advise draining your coolant into a bucket as well, either that or zip tie the thermostat housing up to prevent it from draining all over the place.
