Rear LCA kits & sway bar?
Hello HT members:
I'm looking to buying a set of lower control arms and sway bars, but undecided on what brand or company to go with. What do you guys recommend for an EK?
How do they handle?
I'm currently running AGX w/Ground Control Springs. I'm planning to add SPC camber kit for the front. Still undecided what kind of cambers to add on the rear.
Is it better to stay with one brand or mismatch?
All SRR, ST, SPC, OMNI, D2, Megan Racing, Function 7 etc. If you know of any others post them and give some information please.

SPC are shorter by half an inch...
and i know for a fast srr sway bar does not work with the spc arms... the spc arms are too thick to accept the endlinks

DO NOT GET MEGAN RACING LCAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With that said... personally i'd rock the stockers with es bushings... cant really go rong their unless ur going for the bling factor. I dont know if the eks came with a stock sway bar but if not, the factor7's use the es bushing. Heard good things with srr

what is wrong with megan racing LCAs?
is the problem just for the EK or EG too?
i'm looking at aftermarket LCAs to use with swaybar...

the megan racing lcas suck
reasons:
A friend of mine with an EK, after instulation, went threw the bushings within a month and a half time.
The bushings can not be replaced with oem ones/es/or mugens. (not 100% on the mugens though)
Dealing with the megan company sucked because i ordered parts from them and they never shipped them yet they billed me on items never received. It was about 5 months later until they sent me my items.
to their customer service.
With my eg, one of the bushing wasnt pressed in straight. It was on a hardcore angle downwards. When i instuled them, i got the shock bolt in and the knuckle bolt in fine. The subframe took a long time to get it to line up. I had to twist the lca with a wrench to get it to line up. Since then, about 3 weeks later, the bushing was totally torn and lose.
So my experience with the megan racing lcas got me to the conclusion that they suck!

I have SPC rear lower control arms in silver, i love them. my car only has about a finger gap in the back with the tire/fender, and my camber is almost perfect because of how the SPC RLCA's pulled in the tires :-p

Yup.... just wait a few months especially in the winter.. bushings will be shot.
This was also when these lcas cost about 125. If your using all the stock suspension, you might not have a problem with them, but they get chewed up in a lowered car.

I'm thinking of going with the Type-R RLCA because I just got a 95 GSR disc break conversion for my car.
I did find some NEW SRR RLCA for $120.
But I need to find out if the Invidia 96-00 Civic EK Rear Sway Bar w Tie Bar Kit
Will fit the Type-R RLCA or SRR RLCA.

SRR RLCA

Also Looking at getting the JDM Password 3 Point Front Solid Tower Bar

Honda-Tech Members give me some feed back Please ( Good Or Bad )

Because they fit right, the bushings dont suck, and they wont break, and if you buy them new they come with new OEM bushings installed.
I'd go with OEM LCA's.

Why wouldnt they? the only difference is the width of the bushing.

i was under the impression that they were slightly different in length?
which bushing is different? the subframe side?
i wonder why more people with EK's dont use ITR LCA's...they are definitely a solid piece.

cause stock = free and ITR = $$$, plus you have to run different rear shocks with the ITR rear LCA's

the rear LCA on the si are the same as any other trim level civic...
the rear bar is like 13 or 15mm which is WAY too small. get yourself a USDM ITR 22mm bar...and put an ex 22mm bar in the front while youre at it.

How about a set of the strongest LCAs on the market?
