Default B18C CRX track times and video.

I ran my B18C Crx at the track heres the setup..

Full interior, and full tank of gas. 14" kuhumo escta's. Track surface was oily and not sprayed once the whole night.

b18c block
b16b head
b18c cams
b16a intake and TB
I/H/E
Skunk2 P28 program.

Im disapointed.. Heres the time.

R/T ------.725
60' -------2.391
330 ------6.391
1/8 ------9.649
MPH -----76.46
1000 -----12.413
1/4 -----14.759
MPH ----96.29

I ran consitant 14.7's and a 14.80. My MPH was 96MPH everytime. I had 1 bad run where i launched and got alot of spin and had to let off.. my 60ft time was 2.8 and thats the ONLY video he took Ran a 15.2

Anyways.. Atleast you get to see the car.. REMEMBER VIDEO IS OF BAD RUN.

that doesnt seem fast enough for the parts you have there.

what elevation are you at?

have you had the setup dynoed? i would start there and see what kind of power your putting down, then go from there.

you running stock suspension? slicks and stiff spring and a better 60 foot would drop your time considerably.

GSR cams are better turbo cams.

My elevation is close to sea level.. I live right neer the major great lakes.

I just relized i wasnt running a front mount! Just 2 side mounts and a rear mount with inserts.. Im NOT using hasport or similar mounts, im using 91 integra mounts so they arent solid.

I plan to fill them, install the front, gut my car, and run on less gas and get better tires for next time!

Get solid mounts and some good tires. I know the teg mounts make the car more of a everyday car, but solid mounts will improve your launch times.

I believe in having proper tires. I have 91 CRX with SOHC non VTEC and I pulled a 2.00 60ft time. I am using M/T ET 15inch slicks. Sixty foot time is everything when u drag racing.

i am too. i had a 1990 Si Htachback. the only interior was the dash and front seats. everything else was gone. the car weighed 2330 with my 300 lb azz in it. i had a B16A with PR3 ECU, and the S 1 transmission. i had an autozone short ram with a real K&N. an open cat but with a glass pack in place of the cat. i had 170/70/13 kuhmo tires and steelies. i was running 14.9-15.1. i was stumped, why so slow? I even switched to a 205/50/15 falken tire with a 10.4 lb forged wheel just to see if it was traction. my 60' improved, by my trap slowed, and i yielded the same times. so upon the advice of a few friends i addressed my igintion. i bought a brand new distributor, iridium plugs, and MSD super conductor wires, professionally set timing, and the next trip to the track yielded 14.7's all night, with 1 run of a 14.6, all on the 13" donuts.

this may not be your problem, but hope this can help you look at an angle your not thinking of.

neither was i but the mounts i had required the cross member to be bashed all to hell to make the manifold clear it. my swap was done by a shop in phoenix az called import power house.

Yeah thanks im going to do a full tunup before next time.

Timing belt, Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, Adjust Valves (i know there outa spec), and set my ignition timing (i know its out a bit) and im gonna gut it, run on fumes and get some good tires and i think i should do better.
