hey guys i had a sohc vtech in my del sol and i had air conditioning in it. then i bought a motor from hmotorsonline i got a jdm b16 and i want ot put the ac back in it can use the stock sohc stuff like collant lines i have the stock b16 comprssure is it alot of work.

 

You need to use the d series compressor and a dohc vtec del sol ac bracket. Everything will bolt up fine as long as you use the b16 delsol bracket. The part # is 38930-P54-000

 

so you're saying i won't have ac if i swap a b16 without that bracket?

 

yes. unless you want to decharge your system, then change compressors and then recharge the system. also a crv p7j bracket will also work. its a little less money

 

man fudge the AC... i'm taking that out. worse comes to worse... just take off my shirt lol

 

theres no reason to have ac in a del sol anyways, with a back window that rolls down and a roof that comes off, its useless. and i live in hot Fontuky, Ca
