I got a 98' civic hatch cx. And today i decided to open up the speaker thingers. When i looked inside i saw that the previous owner did something. It's wierd looking. So if you guys would be kind enough to take off the cover and snap a picture it would really help me out. And Yes, i did a search.

no one? if no pictures i am going to ask you guys if there is supposed to be a smaller speaker or tweater next to the bigger speaker. Cause when i opened the case up there was lots of duct tape and only one speaker...unless the whole is useless

 

it's supose to be just one speaker say a 5.4

 

i suppose if any of us had the need to take the sucker apart..we d post..id do it, but i dont think id be able to get it back together again

 

is it 5.25" or 6.5" for the speaker

The front speakers are 6.5, but a small 6.5. (I had to trim both my speaker and my door panel to get the speakers I wanted to use to fit. The rears are 6x9

What probably happened was the previous owner got 5.25 speakers and when they didn't fit, he did some funny business with duct tape.

AND, why dont YOU take a picture and we can tell you what is supposed to be going on.
