Does anyone know how to take the part apart that the cv boot covers? I have been hitting it with a hammer for like an hour and it hasnt moved at all.

please don't use a hacksaw on anything. Use a block of wood and a mallet. Don't be a b*tch when hitting it, it takes some effort. I have done it and i found that if you follow these directions http://www.autozone.com/servle...c.jsp it does help
